Assalamualaikum guys.Today our class in SL006. Actually,i dont have any idea how to write the intro for blog.todayi feel so blurr.. =.= .Erm..today we had an interesting activity which is ''GLEE a.k.a So You Think You Can Dance''.OMG!!! singing??? i dont know how to sing in english version..seriously..but i try my best.So Miss Zue divide us to 4 group.

When grouped discusion,for first 30minute(i think) we dont have any idea.but thanks to Miss Zue,she helped us with give some idea.I was act an adviser who advise a grouped which are doing unhealthy lifestyle,so that there are 2 type of song that i must to sing which is :

1.Umbrella(Rianna).
2.MCD's Song.

I never sings umbrella by Rianna before,so i feel afraid if i not sing properly.I see Miss Zue always laugh with other friends,so i think we all do a great job today.I think my ex- partner''haha'',Ridzuan have a great voice and acting today,i saw Fathi and Adam non-stop laugh to him.So today,we all have a great moment.ohh god! i forget something.

Assalamualaikum guys..we meet again! how about you holiday??? for me,this holiday were very stressed ,i had Acc106 test.I dont like account,i dont know why..hurmmm just forget it,i think i try my best for that subject.So today our class in C101.Today Miss zue teach us about ''READING''.this is about skill when reading some essay/topic/nouvel.So the reading skill are:

1.Scanning.
2.Skimming.

SCANNING:
#Move your eyes quickly down a page or list to find one specific detiled.
#Its allow you to locate quickly a single fact,date,name,word in text without trying to read or understand th rest of  the piece.
#Make a prediction about where in a chapter you might find the word, name, fact, term, or date.
#Move your eyes vertically or diagonally  down the page, letting them dart quickly from side to side and keeping in mind that exact type of information that you want.
#Make sure 100% accuracy.

SKIMMING:
#Read quickly to get the main idea of a paragraph, page, chapter or article, and a few (but not all!) of the details.
#Skimming allows you to read quickly to get a general sense of a text so that you can decide whether it has useful information for you.
1.Read the first few paragraphs, two, or three middle paragraphs, and the final two or three paragraphs of a piece, trying to get a basic understanding of the information.
      2.Some people prefer to skim by reading the first and last sentence of each paragraph, that is, the topic sentences and concluding sentences.
      3.If there are pictures, diagrams or charts, a quick glance at them an  their captions may help you to understand the main idea or point of view in the text.
  4.Remember: You do not have to read every word when you skim.
   Generally move your eyes horizontally (and quickly) when you skim.

Hello peeps,today our class in SL104 and today we all must do a presentation about ''THE INTRODUCTORY PARAGRAPH-The Hook'' we are divide to 7 group which is:

Example of personal observation paragraph:


Daniel from Kelantan studied at Oxford University in London. He was a smart student and he got many academic awards from many countries such as Mexico, Japan and Korea. Daniel started being friends with a man from other country and they got closer.(Hook- personal observation) Due to the fact, he begun an affair with that man and he started behaving like a girl.(Transition) Thus, here are some factors why man changes his personality to “transvestite” such as family problems,influence of friends and frustration.(Thesis statement)

Example of quoatation paragraph:


     “I hate to hear you talk about all women as if they were fine ladies instead of rational creatures. None of us want to be in calm waters all our lives.”  A quote stated by Janes Austen . I definitely agree with this quote because women are one of the biggest groups being discriminated today .(the hook-quotation) Discrimination against women is often found in workplaces all over the world . Women are paid lower than men , and women do not get promoted as fast as men . There are so many barriers that stop women from moving up in their careers . This way of thinking should be stopped because women have their rights to be successful in life , just like men (transition). There are many ways to stop this problem from broadering such as teaching employees and students about discrimination through meetings and classes . Next , people should display flyers in popular spots among the work or school zone, such as in hallways, information boards, break rooms and restrooms.  Lastly , people should join the battle against discrimination though a variety of organizations that fight discrimination together.(thesis)

According to the Daily News dated July 1, 2010, the percentage of female students who continue higher education institutions is much higher than the percentage of men by 64.8% to 26,229 from 40,506 of the total (the hook – fact). This shows that male students admission to institutions of higher education has decreased from year to year.  These statistics are frightening and should not be taken lightly. The factors of this phenomena is because boys are more interested in the areas of skills, working and not interested to continue their studies. (the transition).  In order not to become one of these statistics, boys need to be more discipline, put more on effort and should get more support from their parents.  (thesis statement)

There are different points of view on sexual orientation. From the several myths in the world, what makes a person gay? Are they born gay? Is it social upbringing that channels them to be gay? (hook)(rhetorical question)Some may gave excuses that their partners are not loyal and to them that in addition, more women nowadays dares to cheat on their spouses this also goes for the men. Some of them are also influenced by their friends to established a homosexuality relationship with their partners.    Nowadays, we can see in news paper, television and internet showed us about issue and problem about pengkid and queer. Pengkid and queer can easily identified with their behavior, character and the way they dress up.We also can see in television mostly this group without worried and no fear with public view dare to show and obtrude out(the hook)(current issue). But they are not the only one that should be blamed on, sometimes there are few conditions that turn them to be in that particular group (transition). Thus , there are few factors that make this pengkid and queer involved and fall to this unhealthy act such as peer pressure, family problem and frustrate.(thesis statement).

Gay marriage expresses an individual freedom. Countries which legalized same sex marriages appeared to have more stabilize society.(transition)However, research has stated that gay marriages should not be supported due to the fact that marriage is an institution between man and woman, gay relationship is immoral and it would have threaten the institution of marriage. Transvestite is a person who dresses in the clothes of opposite sex . Transvestites generally have lesser or no desires to permanently change their sex, but simply enjoy being able to cross-dress from time to time. (Hook – definition) Transvestite is considered as a sin in Islamic culture because it is against the rules of islam.In islam someone who changes his/she gender is a sin because they do not know how to appreciate the things that were given to them (Transition) Thus, there are ways to stop transvestite such as speaking with the gender therapists , ignore people’s thought and lastly , do not mix around with the transvestites.(Thesis statement)


   

We are the second group must to present about the introductory paragraph ''quotation''.I never use quotation before to write essay so i think its a bit difficult.thanks to Miss zue for teach us about the introductory paragraph.After the presentation we all must to edit the paragraph again and submit to Miss Zue on Monday.

Hi guys,today our class in SL 006 .Miss Zue teach us about ''The Introductory Paragraph'' which is the most important paragraph in essay.So,here are some information that we must know when writing the introductory paragraph for essay.

What is the purpose of the introductory paragraph?
1.to get reader's attention
2.Make a contract with the reader - what will be covered in this piece? 

           The part of the introductory paragraph:
     The hook:designed to grab attention immediately & give indication about the essay's topic.
      The transition:moves the reader from the hook to the driving force of the essay.
       The thesis:make the contract with the reader about what to be discussed without a blatant announcement.

*Type of Hook:
 1.Personal examples
2. Quotations
3.Facts or statistics
4.Rhetorical questions
5.Current events
  6. Contrast to the thesis statement
7.Definition

      *Personal example:
       #Provide strong,dramatic incident to use.Honesty in expressing thought & feelings will ring true the reader.you can make up personal experience,but makes sure it not sound credible.
     *Personal observation:
  # Different from personal example.An observation is something you saw happening

 *Quotation:
*content of quotation must be:
1.dramatic.
2.suprising.
  3. humorous.
   4.emotionally appealing.

    Hye guys.Today I feel tired and sleepythis is because I have to attend induction for business study sponsored by the association business study,UiTM.So today miss zue ask us about assesment,entrance/exis 
t survey.for assesment,i just get 9/10 i feel so stress.i dont know what is the wrong answer in the task.so i just calm myself.after assesment and entrance/exist survey,miss zue called Nabila to represent their blog to all member.

I went to Blok Cendiakawan c101 with Zalila.today,we be the first student who came to the class.
  After few minutes,Miss Zue come to the class.She asked us about blogger and Accelerate text book.she called Fathi to reprsent his blogger.in the end of presentation,she told to us to make our blogger more beautiful.
 Next,she teach us about grammar which is are NOUN.Noun devide to two category:
1.Common Noun:>kata nama<
2.Proper Noun:>kata nama khas<>CAPITAL LETTER>
